A dream is your creative vision for your life in the future.
You must break out of your current comfort zone and
become comfortable with the unfamiliar and the unknown.

Architects decide which contractor will work on the project design by architect himself.

If architect selects wrong contractor then consequences will be very drastic. Wrong contractor will actually spoil the whole building project.

Try to focus on the detailing point of design i.e. building construction detail.
The better you point in detail , the better the life of building will be.

Buildings have to bear extreme climate changes : rain/ sun/ earthquake / wind for a minimum span of 50 -100 years.

So contractor should be worth that.

Architectural practice spectrum can be visualized as human body : Vizvakaru विश्वकारु .Using the human body as a metaphor, this hymn divides architects into four distinct classes based on objectives behind architectural practice.

  1. Vizvakaru's Mouth : Architects have philosophy, ideas and concepts behind all the project they design. This class of architects represents architect fraternity Vizvakaru's head and mouth. For example Ar. Charles correa, Ar. B V Doshi, Ar. Raj Rewal etc.

  2. Vizvakaru's Arms : Architects act like advocates and always focus on building bye laws , acts, codes, circulars. Legal implication are bindings of architect profession . Born administrators or warriors. behave like protectors of Architect fraternity Vizvakaru's arms and act like the politicians, police, and the military
for example Ar. J.R. Bhalla, Ar. Premendra Raj Mehta, Ar. Prof. Vijay Shrikrishna Sohoni, Ar. K. B. Mohapatra etc.

  3. Vizvakaru's Thighs : The skillful producers of material things architecture , These architect are fraternityVizvakaru's thighs and usually posses big corporate offices in metro city like Delhi, Bombay , Calcutta and act as the merchants ,traders. They practice architecture for making money by handling and executing big multi-crores housing , commercial projects for benefit of builders and developers across India. For example, Ar. Hafeez Contractor, Ar. A. N. kothari, Ar. suresh goyel etc.

  4. Vizvakaru's Feet : The followers architects or the maintenance architects, the so-called menial workers or hard laborers architects usually face daily challenges by small office setups in residential areas of city. These architect are fraternity Vizvakaru's feet on which all above three parts of Vizvakaru walks or works . Mostly architect carrier life span goes in listening all types of silly suggestions of small unaware clients. For Example : Practicing young architects of india like me.

Architect do not shy away from experimentation like Charles Correa, Prashant Diwakriti, Ajay Kataria, Anjum Gupta, Vineet Chadha, Nikhil Sompura and others, Most often employ a hybrid style that is a free mix of Roman, English, Gothic, Rajasthani and Mughal styles.
This new-age architectural aesthetics has redefined the idea of space. The emphasis now seems to be on having more open spaces, green spaces and natural lighting. It is, however, not possible to term this new trend as a 'representative' architecture of our times as it is highly restricted in geographic terms and also confined to the affluent lot.
