Center Business District (CBD)

The C.B.D.( or the central Business Districts) is comprised of mostly landuses of commercial nature like shops for seasonal needs, commercial recreational centers like cinema halls, theaters, auditoria etc. Roads from all parts of the city should give access to the C.B.D. The C.B.D. of a metropolitan city cater for a larger areas in the sense that satellite towns are also dependent on the said C.B.D. Hence easy traffic
movements to the C.B .D. from within the city limits are required and also from Wecity fringe as well.
Some Metropolitan cities may have more than one C.B.D.s and which can also act like a business center for not only a city but also for a region.
