Introducing CDS Lighting Designers
#1

Dear All

Greetings of the day!!

We take pleasure to introduce ourselves as a Lighting Design Consultant. We have successfully completed several projects all over India. We work in coordination with Interior Designers / Architect and provide specialized lighting design services.

Collaborative Design Studio (‘CDS’), based out of Mumbai, is a dynamic and fast growing firm in the lighting industry.

The ethos which defines CDS - lighting design is not just about illuminating the place - it is about creating an environment - an aura for the place. It is about shaping the ‘feel’ of the place. Yes, with just a few clicks of the switch, lighting can bestow divergent moods to a place. It can infuse positive vibes. In fact, as per renowned psychologists, lighting plays a very crucial role in shaping the mindset of a person. Being continually exposed to dim and uninspiring lighting could make you a depressed soul and vice versa! In a nutshell, lighting not only re-defines the overall aesthetics of a place, it also has a striking impact on your overall mindset.

CDS specializes in providing customized and comprehensive lighting design solutions for all types of projects.

The Founder and Principal Designer at CDS, Sheetal Sandesara, has been working extensively in the lighting industry for approx. a decade. During this period, she has collaborated on several architectural lighting design projects which include - landscaping, building façades, art galleries, museums, hospitality industry, villas, bungalows and commercial, institutional & high-end residential buildings. To name a few, she has worked for - Mumbai University Convocation Hall, Chief Justice’s Chamber – Mumbai High Court, Town Hall – Mumbai, Kumarmangalam Birla’s residence (Mumbai), the art gallery at TCS House (Mumbai), Vaibhav Jeweller's showroom (Vizag), etc.

We shall be providing a few hand-picked images which go on to testify the fact that ‘creative lighting concepts’ can indeed be converted into a ‘tangible reality’!
