Irony of Architectural practice
#1

As an architects design on paper is converted into a real building, lots of problems arise with respect to the local climate , nature and the owner dwelling in that house. So the owner tries to change the building design.

Now the building designs changes from what is originally thought of by the Architect and settles at some midway point where both client and the Architect is satisfied.

In an Architects career , he learns how to manage and handle people working in the project so that his design concept is not spoiled by the construction team.

An Architect has to learn, when he should speak loud and when to observe silence in a meeting with client or a contractor.

Most of his time is actually eaten up by the construction management work, which is not actually his job. His job is to create new ideas and concepts.
