Principle of composition : 


1. Unity -The Dominant Principle of Coherence.
unity is relationship among aspects of a composition which emphasizes coherence and coordination. This relationship requires an economical or judicious construction which ensures some contribution to the overall effect or statement from every aspect of the
artwork. Unity implies a balance among constituent aspects of an artwork in terms of positions or placement, sizes, proportions,
qualities, and directions. 

2. Harmony and Variety-The Dominant Principles of Arrangement
a. Harmony: Hammy is a relationship among aspects of a composition which emphasizes a proportionate, orderly whole, projecting a calm effect and a clear statement.

b. Variety: Variety is a relationship among aspects of a composition which emphasizes a diversified, multifaceted whole, having an effect of animation and a sensory and/or emotional appeal

3. Subordinate  or controlling principle of arrangement 
a. Balance :Balance is a relationship between aspects of a composition which emphasize equilibrium in terms of weight , quantity or emphasis. 
b. Symmetrical balance or approximate symmetry,
c. Radial balance.
