Unique land parcel identification number ULPIN

All the land plots across the country will have the Unique Land Parcel Identification Number (UPLIN) by March, 2022. 
  • Currently this scheme is launched in 13 states in the country. 
  • Under this scheme, Aadhaar details, revenue court records and bank records will be integrated with land record database. 
  • Identification of land parcels and plots will be made on the basis of its longitude and latitude coordinates. 
  • Detailed surveys and geo-referenced cadastral maps will also be of core importance. 
  • This identification will tend to prevent land frauds and disputes across the country and help in entitlement of the same.
  • Under this initiative, land records will be integrated with Aadhaar details, revenue court records and bank records

  • Creating a modern land record room will cost Rs. 50 lakh pr district and integration of the land records with revenue court management system will cost Rs. 270 crores
  • Linking Aadhaar details with land records will be made on a voluntary basis
  • This initiative thereby tends to avoid land frauds thereby bringing transparency in land matters and entitlement of ownership

जमीन का आधार नंबर
आने वाले दिनों में आपके जमीन की 14 डिजिट का एक ULPIN नंबर यानी यूनिक नंबर जारी होगा. आप सामान्य बोलचाल की भाषा में इसे जमीन का आधार नंबर भी कह सकते हैं. इस नंबर के माध्यम से देश में कहीं भी जमीन खरीदने और बेचने में दिक्कत नहीं होगी और उसके लिए एक ही नंबर होगा. यदि उस जमीन का आगे चलकर बंटवारा भी होता है तो उस जमीन का आधार नंबर अलग-अलग हो जाएगा.

डिजिटल भारत भूखंड ब्योरा आधुनिकीकरण कार्यक्रम  की शुरुआत 2008 से ही हुई थी। 
⮞ देश के कुल 6.56 लाख में से 6.08 लाख गांवों के जमीन रिकॉर्ड को डिजिटल बनाकर वेब पोर्टल पर डाल दिया गया है।
⮞ इस तरह, जमीन दस्तावेज को डिजिटल फॉर्मेट में लाने का काम 94% पूरा हो चुका है। 
⮞ देश के सभी 5,220 रजिस्ट्री ऑफिसों में से 4,883 को ऑनलाइन किया जा चुका है।
⮞ 19 राज्यों में पायलट प्रॉजेक्ट चल रहा है।
⮞ 13 राज्यों में सात लाख भूखंडों के लिए यूएलआईपीएन जारी हो चुके हैं।

Bhu-Naksha is a Cadastral Mapping Software developed by NIC using Open Source Applications and libraries to facilitate management of Digitized Cadastral Maps.
