Many traditional arts and handicrafts of India are dying due to modernization and technological developments. These Handmade tales of Ind ia are on the verge of extinction and getting replaced by machine made products. Dying Arts and Crafts of Ind ia includes Madhubani Paintings, craft of Kendra para, Hand loom Weaving, Rangoli designs and portraits and many more to put on the List.

"Kath-Kuni" is an indigenous construction technique prevalent in the isolated hills of northern India, especially in the region of Himachal Pradesh and in Uttarakhand it is known as "Koti Banal". It is a traditional technique which has been orally transcended from one generation to another. This project brings to Light the various artifacts across times and cultures thus to understand the contexts in which they were made, a platform is created to conserve by means of innovation, to exhibit these traditional arts and crafts in their most original forms such that the viewers understand "know how" rather than "know that".

This thesis project delivers facilities of innovative solutions worked together at one place and preserve prominent works of local artists. architects and designers by providing
transparency for Learning the working techniques of di fferent professions not by just analysing their product but by analysing the journey of creating the same. This project helps
in connecting the community members socially and mentally by doing all the things together as a whole. Right from cooking food, working projects, eating, celebrating festivals, embracing eco- friendly ways to approach construction, Learning more about the culture of the place and designing to promote the same.
