S.K.N College of Agriculture

S.K.N. college of agriculture is a hundred year old structure. Due to severe climatic conditions of the State, lime plaster façade was decayed and the building was completely deformed. It required complete restoration and renovation. We took this as a challenge and were successful in creating a new façade using Rajasthani architecture principals mentioned in Jaipur Portfolio. Main Gate way of this campus is newly constructed to give this building its original concept of  fort of education.  The façade consists of three parts. The central part gives the blessing of Goddess Saraswati to the students. The octagonal corners fortifies the building. The open verandah protects fenestration on ground floor and gives soothing microclimatic air movements.
